Compensation and Benefits Coordinator Job Description

This role presents an excellent opportunity for a part-time payroll administrator to join a reputable chartered accountancy practice based in the Kingston area.

The firm is a multi-partner organization that services numerous clients locally and across the wider region.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Oversee the accuracy and quality of payroll work, ensuring timely completion and compliance with relevant regulations.
  • Process payrolls according to the Weekly, Monthly, and Quarterly Payroll cut-off schedule, adhering to industry standards.
  • Maintain completed and signed-off payroll checklists, guaranteeing transparency and accountability.
  • Initiate HMRC tax code amendments prior to payroll processing, upholding regulatory requirements.
  • Respond promptly to HMRC queries, fostering effective communication and resolving issues efficiently.
  • Process and upload pension submissions, ensuring seamless execution and compliance.
  • Manage a portfolio of payrolls, including liaising with clients and addressing their queries effectively.
Requirements:
  • Prior experience in a UK-based accountancy practice or payroll bureau, demonstrating expertise and knowledge.
  • Ability to commute to central Kingston, with flexibility to adapt to changing circumstances.
  • Excellent communication and time management skills, ensuring efficient task execution and collaboration.
  • A strong work ethic and self-driven attitude, facilitating productivity and results-oriented performance.
  • Organizational and motivational skills, allowing for effective prioritization and goal achievement.
  • Detailed focus and confidentiality, ensuring professional handling of sensitive information.
Benefits:

This position offers flexible part-time hours and a competitive local salary.

Salary Information:

We estimate the salary for this role to be around £25,000 - £35,000 per annum, depending on experience.
