Quality Assurance Technician

We are seeking a highly skilled Quality Assurance Technician to join our team at New Appointments Group. As a key member of our quality control team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of quality and safety in our food manufacturing environment.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Conduct daily GMP audits of the warehouse, factory exterior, and office block areas to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Review and verify the accuracy of raw materials and packing deliveries to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Perform regular checks on the packing lines and equipment to ensure they are functioning correctly and calibrated as needed.
  • Verify the date coding and labeling of finished goods to ensure they are accurate, readable, and meet customer requirements.
  • Conduct traceable tests and maintain product samples of daily production to ensure quality and detect any defects.
  • Develop and implement technical reviews of suppliers to ensure they meet our quality standards.
  • Continuously monitor and improve quality control procedures, including metal detection, weight checks, product seals, bar codes, and verification.

Requirements:

  • Previous QA or food handling experience within a food manufacturing environment.
  • Understanding of HACCP and intermediate certificate in food hygiene.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Strong attention to detail and analytical skills.
  • Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
