Deputy Service Manager for Dispensary and Distribution

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Deputy Service Manager to join our pharmacy team at Royal Papworth Hospital NHS Foundation Trust. As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for managing stock control, including temperature monitoring, and working closely with the lead pharmacy technician for Dispensary and Distribution.
Key Responsibilities- Manage all stock in the pharmacy department, ensuring accurate and efficient inventory control.
- Work closely with the lead pharmacy technician to effectively manage teams of pharmacy assistants.
- Provide training and mentorship for new starters in the dispensary and in stores.
- Assist in procurement for the pharmacy department.

Person Specification- Knowledge of pharmaceutical technical procedures acquired through diploma level qualification or equivalent training and experience.
- GPhC accredited qualification in pharmacy.
- Experience in hospital pharmacy, including working within a pharmacy dispensary.
- Experience in managing a service and/or leading a team.
- Logical and lateral thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, leadership, and organisational skills.
