Job Summary


This Band 3 role will work as a Clinical Secretary on the Surgical & Critical Care ward at University Hospital Hairmyres. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing comprehensive administrative support to clinicians, enabling effective operation.



Responsibilities



  • Provide administrative support to a team of clinicians
  • Work in accordance with standard operating procedures


Requirements


The ideal candidate should have a SVQ level 2 qualification (or equivalent experience) plus experience in healthcare administration or a secretarial role. Strong communication skills with patients, clinicians, and colleagues are essential. Excellent organisational skills and competence with relevant IT systems are also required.
