Specialist Disability Support Worker

Cartrefi Cymru Co is seeking a highly motivated and compassionate Specialist Disability Support Worker to join our team.
About the Role:
As a Specialist Disability Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities to live fulfilling lives. Your primary responsibility will be to support individuals with daily living tasks, personal care, and accessing community resources.
Key Responsibilities:
- Personal Care: Support individuals with intimate personal care needs, ensuring dignity and respect at all times.
- Daily Living Tasks: Assist individuals with daily living tasks, such as cooking, cleaning, and managing finances.
- Community Access: Support individuals to access community resources, such as leisure activities, education, and employment.
- Documentation: Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of support provided, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements.
Requirements:
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, be able to work independently and as part of a team, and demonstrate a strong commitment to supporting individuals with autism and other disabilities. A valid driver's license and access to your own vehicle are also essential.
Salary: £22,000 - £26,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
Benefits: 25 days annual leave (rising to 30 days after 5 years), flexible shift patterns, support to achieve necessary qualifications, pension scheme, employee assistance program.
