About the Role

We are seeking a Business Development Coordinator to join our team in York. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for delivering exceptional customer service, promoting our product range, and driving business growth. This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced Sales and Support Representative to work in a target-driven environment and contribute to the success of our client's business.

Key Responsibilities

  1. Provide outstanding customer service to prospective and existing customers.
  2. Work proactively to grow the business by explaining the benefits of our product range and services.
  3. Upsell and cross-sell opportunities to increase sales revenue.
  4. Handle inbound customer enquiries and provide solutions proactively.
  5. Demonstrate good communication skills, empathy, and professionalism in every interaction.
  6. Work confidently in a target-driven environment, demonstrating ambition to achieve targets and resilience when needed.

Requirements

  1. Confident working with multiple contact types, including telephone, social media, webchat, and email.
  2. Excellent customer service skills and experience of phone work, including dialing out.
  3. Upselling experience is desirable, but not essential.
  4. Excellent telephone manner, ability to multitask, and drive to achieve KPIs and SLAs.
  5. Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.

What We Offer

Estimated salary: £25,000-27,000 per annum, depending on experience, plus monthly individual and team commission. Working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5:30pm with an hour for lunch and 1 in 4 Saturdays working 10-4pm paid at 1.5x overtime.
