About the Role

We are seeking an experienced and skilled CDM Principal Designer to join our team at Building Design Partnership Limited. As a key member of our design team, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the compliance of our projects with the CDM Regulations 2015.

As a CDM Principal Designer, you will be responsible for providing expert advice and support to our multi-disciplinary design teams and clients during the design and pre-construction stages of various projects. Your primary objective will be to ensure that our projects are delivered safely, efficiently, and in compliance with relevant regulations.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Provide CDM PD support and advice to design teams and clients
  • Ensure compliance with CDM Regulations 2015
  • Lead the pre-construction phase and drive risk reduction
  • Coordinate health and safety during the pre-construction stage
  • Develop and deliver CDM training programs and workshops

Requirements:

  • Experience in a similar role with a strong construction background and design knowledge
  • NEBOSH General Certificate or equivalent qualification
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work effectively with people at all levels
