**Role Overview:**

Ashville Knight is a full-service law firm looking for a Trust Tax Manager to join their team in Lewes. This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled professional to take on a challenging role and contribute to the success of the company.

The ideal candidate will have a strong background in tax management, excellent communication skills, and the ability to work independently. As a key member of the team, you will be responsible for managing the preparation of trust tax and ensuring timely filing and proper record-keeping in line with regulatory requirements.

**Key Responsibilities:**

  • Manage the preparation of trust tax and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements.
  • Prepare inheritance tax accounts and submit them on time.
  • Demonstrate a strong understanding of HMRC's Trust Registration Service and apply it effectively.
  • Handle the preparation and submission of personal tax returns for clients.
  • Offer tax planning advice to clients and trustees to maximise tax efficiency and minimise liabilities.
  • Collaborate with clients, trustees, and third-party professionals to collect and validate information necessary for tax filings.
  • Stay up-to-date on the latest tax legislation changes and implement them accordingly.

**Requirements:**

  • At least 2 years' experience as a Trust Tax Manager (or similar).
  • Knowledge of UK tax laws and regulations.
  • ATA/CTA/STEP qualified.
  • A high level of technical competence when drafting documentation.

**Salary and Benefits:**
