About the Role

The Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services) is seeking a highly skilled Dental Professional to join its team. As a Clinical Dentist, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to service personnel, ensuring their oral health and fitness for duty.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Inspect and examine service personnel for dental health issues, providing follow-up treatment as required
  • Collaborate with professional colleagues to ensure the best possible patient outcomes
  • Maintain high standards of surgery management, documentation, and equipment maintenance
  • Refer personnel to enhanced practitioners or specialists for further treatment when necessary

Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Foundation Dentist Training or equivalent experience in primary dental care
  • Maintained evidence of clinical currency, with a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months
