About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civilian Dental Practitioner to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our Primary Health Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to service personnel and their families.

Key Responsibilities
  • Inspect and treat service personnel for dental health issues, following National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with colleagues to provide comprehensive care and ensure the best possible outcomes for patients.
  • Manage surgery, documentation, and equipment to maintain a high standard of care.
  • Refer patients to specialists or consultants as needed.
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Foundation Dentist Training or equivalent experience in a primary dental care setting.
  • At least 24 months of post-graduate clinical experience in a primary dental care setting.
  • Maintained evidence of clinical currency, with a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
