About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civilian Dental Practitioner to join our Primary Health Care team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our patients, working closely with our military and civilian staff to deliver excellent patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide clinical dental services to patients, including routine check-ups, fillings, and extractions.
  • Work collaboratively with our multidisciplinary team to deliver comprehensive patient care.
  • Contribute to the development and implementation of dental care policies and procedures.
  • Participate in quality improvement initiatives to ensure high standards of patient care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
Requirements
  • Registration with the General Dental Council (GDC) as a General Dental Practitioner.
  • Minimum 2 years' post-graduate experience in a primary dental care setting.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with patients, colleagues, and other stakeholders.
  • Ability to maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records, adhering to confidentiality and data protection policies.
  • Flexibility to work varied shifts, including evenings and weekends, as required.
