About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Civilian Dental Practitioner to join our team at the Ministry of Defence (Defence Medical Services). As a key member of our Primary Health Care team, you will be responsible for providing high-quality dental care to our entitled personnel.

Key Responsibilities

  • Inspect and treat personnel for whom you are responsible, following National Institute for Health and Care Excellence guidelines.
  • Work collaboratively with professional colleagues to provide the best possible care for patients.
  • Ensure surgery management, documentation, and equipment maintenance are always kept to a high standard.
  • Refer personnel to enhanced practitioners, specialists, or consultants as appropriate.

Requirements

  • Registration with the relevant professional body.
  • Foundation Dentist Training or equivalent experience in a primary dental care setting.
  • At least 24 months post-graduate current clinical experience in a primary dental care setting.
  • Maintained evidence of clinical currency, with a minimum of 2 clinical sessions per week over the last 15 months.
