Senior Clinical Technologist

Job Summary
The Swansea Bay University Health Board is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Senior Clinical Technologist to join their team. As a Senior Clinical Technologist, you will be responsible for providing a maintenance, repair, and support service for a wide range of medical devices, including highly complex and patient-critical equipment.
Main Responsibilities
- Plan and prioritize non-routine breakdown requests and deal with emergencies arising with equipment.
- Perform commissioning and acceptance tests on newly purchased and loan equipment.
- Maintain and repair a range of highly complex and patient-critical medical equipment located throughout the organization.
- Participate in and contribute to the MEMS Quality Management System, adhering to policies and processes at all times.
- Work according to Health Board and Departmental policies and procedures, making decisions within the scope of their competence.
- Actively contribute to planning of service developments within MEMS and support the development of changes in MEMS quality system.
- Provide assistance with the development of changes to Health and Safety Policies that will have an impact particularly in their own area of responsibility but also generally within MEMS.
