Job Summary

This is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Registered Nurse to join our team as a Dementia Care Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for leading the care team and implementing best practices to improve patient outcomes.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement care plans that cater to the unique needs of dementia patients.
  • Lead the care team, providing guidance and support to ensure high-quality care delivery.
  • Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to coordinate care and services.
  • Conduct assessments and make recommendations for individualized care plans.
  • Provide education and training to staff members on dementia care and management.
  • Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and trust policies.

Requirements

  • RMN/RLDN or Dip/BSc (Hons) in Mental Health/Learning Disability Nursing ENB 998 / Preceptorship and Mentorship.
  • At least 2 years post-registration experience at Band 5.
  • Evidence of continuing professional development.

Estimated Salary: £42,000 - £52,000 per annum
