Job Description

As a Senior Actuarial Analyst, you will work closely with our broking teams to support client pricing and provide technical input. You will engage with actuaries from insurers to challenge their pricing assumptions and models. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Working with property broking teams to understand client needs and provide technical pricing input
  • Reviewing and updating property products and models as needed
  • Building new pricing models and adapting existing ones
  • Undertaking catastrophe modelling using RMS and/or AIR
  • Providing analytical model building support and writing reports on data and model outputs
Requirements

To be successful in this role, you will need:

  • A part-qualified actuary with experience in general insurance or Lloyd's Market Insurance
  • Previous experience working in property or property-related business lines
  • Proven ability to use RMS and/or AIR modelling
  • Strong Excel skills and experience with R and R Shiny
Salary and Benefits

The estimated salary for this role is £60,000 - £80,000 per annum, depending on experience. We offer a competitive benefits package, including health insurance, pension scheme, and annual leave.
