Job Summary

Eurex Clearing is seeking a highly motivated and experienced professional to join our Fixed Income Business Development team as a Senior Fixed Income Business Development Specialist. The successful candidate will be responsible for identifying, developing, and promoting trading and clearing products and services to clients and stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities

  • Develop and implement business development strategies to expand Eurex Clearing's presence in the Fixed Income market.
  • Build and maintain relationships with senior stakeholders, business managers, and project teams of buy-side and sell-side institutions, as well as relevant vendor and technology companies.
  • Coordinate business development projects and initiatives, including the management of associated databases and the identification and escalation of key risks and issues.
  • Align across DBAG group divisions to identify areas of synergy and opportunity.
  • Plan, prepare, and run internal and external project/client-related meetings and committees.
  • Collect intelligence on the competitive landscape to identify opportunities or enhance Eurex Clearing's competitive edge.

Requirements

  • Minimum 5 years of experience in financial markets, specifically within Fixed Income OTC IRD cleared markets.
  • Knowledge of Eurex Clearing OTC IRD technical, connectivity, and operating workflows would be a significant advantage.
  • Experience in related post-trade services, such as compression and optimization, would be preferred.
  • Project coordination/management skills are desirable.
  • Ability to identify and translate business opportunities, think creatively to identify opportunities and solve challenges.
  • Confident with strong communication skills, able to engage senior internal and external stakeholders.
  • Effective presentation skills essential, including creating and delivering presentations.
  • Well-organized, able to manage multiple tasks and projects.
  • Proven ability to work alone and as part of a team to meet common target achievement.
  • Proficiency in written and spoken English.
