About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Assistant Manager to join our dynamic team at Rockwater Enterprise. As a key member of our management team, you will play a vital role in delivering exceptional customer experiences and driving business growth.

Key Responsibilities
  • Collaborate with the Restaurant Manager to ensure seamless operation of the venue, focusing on sales, service, quality, appearance, and cleanliness.
  • Train and motivate large teams to deliver high standards of customer service, maintaining a positive and productive working environment.
  • Ensure all staff are delivering the "Rockwater Experience" by following the Waves of Service standards.
  • Maintain a complete understanding of all policies, procedures, and standards.
  • Effectively manage guest complaints and resolve issues in a way that leaves guests satisfied.
  • Manage stock control, delegating tasks and following up accordingly.
  • Comply with legal requirements under the Health & Safety Act 1974 and food hygiene regulations.
  • Maximize sales opportunities by upselling to guests where appropriate.
  • Develop an extensive understanding of Rockwater's experiences and offerings, including Openwater subscription.
  • Communicate effectively with the kitchen regarding menu availability and alterations.
  • Ensure new starters are fully trained and integrated into the Rockwater team.
  • Lead by example, motivating your team to deliver exceptional service through feedback and incentives.
  • Take ownership of the venue when the Restaurant Manager is not present.
  • Build relationships with regular guests, members, and VIPs.
Requirements
  • At least 1 year's experience as an Assistant Manager or Supervisor in a high-volume venue.
  • Proven experience in managing large teams.
