About the Role

We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated individual to join our team as a Support Worker.

As a Support Worker, you will play a vital role in supporting individuals with mild learning disabilities to live independently and make their own choices.

You will work closely with our team to provide active support, assist with daily tasks, and promote the overall wellbeing of the individuals you will be working with.

Key Responsibilities

  • Providing personalized support to individuals with mild learning disabilities
  • Assisting with daily tasks, such as household chores and personal care
  • Encouraging individuals to participate in activities that promote their independence and wellbeing
  • Monitoring the wellbeing of individuals and reporting any concerns to the team

Requirements

  • A full driving license
  • Basic IT skills, including proficiency in using a computer and writing support plans
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
  • A compassionate and understanding approach to supporting individuals with learning disabilities
