We are seeking a dedicated Mental Health Support Specialist to join our team in Penryn, CC. As a key member of our team, you will provide vital support to children and adults experiencing mental health challenges.

**Job Description**

In this role, you will be responsible for delivering both clinical and social care, customised to the specific needs of each individual. Your responsibilities will include:

  • Personal Care and Support: Assisting clients with daily tasks, ensuring their comfort and well-being
  • Challenging Behaviour Support: Managing and responding to challenging behaviours with empathy and professionalism
  • Crisis Intervention: Providing critical support during times of crisis, helping clients navigate difficult moments
  • Promoting Independence: Empowering clients to live as independently as possible, building their confidence and skills
  • Medication Support: Ensuring that clients receive their medication safely and on time
  • Specialist Clinical Care: Addressing complex clinical needs with expertise and compassion

**What We're Looking For**

To excel in this role, you should have:

  • A minimum of 6 months of professional care experience or experience caring for a loved one in the UK
  • The ability to comfortably assist clients with limited mobility
  • The right to work in the UK
  • Prior experience working with clients who have mental health challenges (preferred, but not essential as full training is provided)
  • A valid driver's licence and reliable access to a personal vehicle

**Salary and Benefits**

Our salary ranges from £13.70 to £19.89 per hour, depending on shift and role. In addition, we offer flexible pay options, long-term bookings, unlimited free training, referral bonuses, welcome gifts, and perks at work.
