Neonatal Nurse Specialist

We are seeking a highly motivated and experienced Neonatal Nurse Specialist to join our dynamic team at Buckinghamshire Healthcare NHS Trust. As a key member of our Neonatal Unit, you will provide high-quality care and support to babies requiring all levels of care and their families from admission to discharge home.
Main Responsibilities:- Provide expert clinical care to neonates and their families, working closely with the multidisciplinary team to ensure seamless care delivery.
- Develop and implement individualized care plans, taking into account the unique needs of each patient.
- Collaborate with colleagues to promote a culture of excellence in neonatal care, driving continuous improvement and innovation.
- Contribute to the training and development of junior staff, ensuring they have the skills and knowledge to provide high-quality care.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives, using data and evidence to inform practice and drive positive change.
- 1st Level Registered Nurse or Registered Midwife qualification.
- Neonatal Intensive Care and High Dependency Course or equivalent.
- Neonatal Advanced Life Support course.
- Post-registration qualification in mentoring and supporting students.
- Evidence of continuing professional development and a commitment to lifelong learning.
