About the Role

We are seeking a highly organized and enthusiastic Facilities Manager to join our team at Yeatman Hospital. As a key member of our Facilities Services team, you will play a vital role in ensuring the cleanliness, safety, and efficiency of our hospital environment.

Main Responsibilities

  • Provide exceptional customer service to patients, visitors, and staff
  • Lead and manage a team of 28 individuals to deliver high-quality facilities services
  • Work collaboratively with clinical and administrative teams to maintain a clean and safe environment
  • Develop and implement effective maintenance and repair strategies to minimize downtime and optimize resource utilization
  • Manage budgets and resources to ensure efficient use of facilities and equipment
  • Ensure compliance with health and safety regulations and fire prevention protocols
  • Develop and maintain relationships with external partners and stakeholders to ensure seamless service delivery

Requirements

  • Proven experience in facilities management or a related field
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and deadlines
  • Proficiency in computer systems and software
