Sherborne Sports Centre is a state-of-the-art facility located in the heart of Sherborne, providing a range of sports and fitness activities for students and staff at Sherborne School and Sherborne Prep School, as well as members of the Sherborne Community.
Job SummaryWe are seeking a highly motivated and organized individual to join our team as a Duty Officer at Sherborne Sports Centre. The successful candidate will be responsible for the day-to-day operation of the Sports Centre, ensuring a safe and professional environment for users.
Key Responsibilities- Supervise the normal operation of the Sports Centre and junior members of staff during shifts
- Provide safe, effective, and professional supervision at all times
- Ensure the smooth operation of sports facilities and equipment
- Assist with the maintenance and upkeep of the Sports Centre
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills, as well as the ability to work independently and as part of a team. You will also need to be physically fit and able to lift heavy objects.
