Teaching Personnel is seeking a dedicated SEN Support Worker to join our team in Preston and surrounding areas.

About the Position

We provide skilled support staff to ensure the best care and education for pupils with special educational needs. As a SEN Support Worker, you will collaborate with pupils, teachers, and school staff to tailor your support to meet each child's unique needs.

Main Responsibilities:
  • Supporting Pupils: Assist students in their learning activities and personal development.
  • Promoting Well-being: Encourage pupils' social and emotional well-being.
  • Maintaining a Safe Environment: Help maintain a safe, stimulating, and inclusive environment.
  • EHCP Implementation: Assist with the implementation of Educational Health Care Plans (EHCPs).
Requirements
  • Experience Required: Supporting children or adults in an educational setting or elsewhere.
  • Familiarity with SEN: Familiarity with special educational needs and/or challenging behaviour.
