About The Role


Boldyn Networks is seeking a Warehouse and Logistics Manager with exceptional skills and extensive experience to oversee our inventory and asset management operations across various sites. The ideal candidate will play a pivotal role in ensuring the efficient and safe operation of all warehouse facilities.


Key Responsibilities



  • Develop and implement warehouse and logistics strategies that align with company objectives, ensuring seamless integration with procurement and supply chain management.
  • Manage and maintain inventory levels across all locations, leveraging data-driven insights to optimize stock control and minimize obsolescence.
  • Oversee the receipt, storage, and dispatch of goods, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations and maintaining accurate records.
  • Maintain asset management systems to track and manage company assets effectively, identifying areas for improvement and implementing cost-saving measures.
  • Collaborate with various departments to forecast inventory needs, manage obsolescence, and plan for peak periods, ensuring a proactive approach to logistics management.
  • Conduct regular audits and risk assessments to identify areas for improvements, including ways of working and health and safety practices, and implement corrective actions to mitigate risks.
  • Coordinate with supply chain partners to optimize transportation costs and delivery times, leveraging technology to streamline logistics operations.
  • Utilize technology to improve inventory management and logistics operations, ensuring data-driven decision-making and process efficiency.
  • Prepare and manage the warehouse budget, reporting on performance metrics and providing insights for strategic decision-making.
  • Ensure the safe operation of spaces within the warehouse facilities, maintaining up-to-date health and safety briefings and logs for visitors and employees.
  • Develop and implement a long-term warehousing and logistics strategy that aligns with the company's vision and policies, driving business growth and profitability.
  • Maintain accurate stock control systems and ensure inventories are accurate, planning for future capacity requirements to meet business needs.
  • Organize the recruitment and training of warehouse staff, monitoring staff performance and progress to ensure a high-performing team.
  • Liaise with internal customers to monitor the quality of service they receive, ensuring a proactive approach to customer satisfaction.
  • Oversee the planned maintenance of vehicles, machinery, and equipment used within the facilities, ensuring compliance with health and safety regulations.

About You



  • Experience in Business Administration, Logistics, Supply Chain Management, or a related field, with a proven track record of managing inventory across multiple locations.
  • Strong understanding of health and safety regulations in a warehouse environment, with a commitment to maintaining a safe working environment.
  • Proficient in the use of warehouse and inventory management systems, as well as Microsoft Office Suite, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment, prioritizing tasks and managing multiple projects to meet deadlines and drive business results.
