We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated senior teacher and middle leader to fill the role of Assistant Head, specializing in curriculum, safeguarding, and wellbeing.

Job Description

This challenging yet rewarding position offers an exceptional opportunity for an experienced Assistant Head Teacher to contribute to the success of our students and drive positive change within our organization.

You will lead the development and implementation of our project-based learning curriculum in the Explore part of the school, collaborating closely with our Designated Safeguarding Lead to create a safe and nurturing environment for our students.

As a member of our senior leadership team, you will promote best practices in teaching, learning, and staff development, contributing to the growth and success of our community.

Main Duties
  • Develop and manage the project-based learning curriculum in the Explore part of the school
  • Enhance student safety and wellbeing through safeguarding initiatives
  • Provide guidance and support to teaching staff to promote excellence in teaching and learning
  • Collaborate with external partners to enrich our students' experiences
  • Participate in ongoing staff development to improve teaching practices

Estimated Salary: £58,000 - £68,000 per annum (dependent on experience)
