We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our team in delivering engaging lessons and activities for students with additional needs.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with the class teacher to plan and implement lessons, providing individual support for students and promoting a positive learning environment.
  • Assist with classroom management, maintaining an organised and stimulating space that fosters academic and personal development.
  • Support students with additional needs, helping them to access the curriculum and make progress in their learning.
  • Act as a role model for students, promoting positive behaviour, teamwork, and perseverance.
  • Work closely with teachers, parents, and other staff to support students' progress and well-being.

Requirements:

  • Experience working with children in any capacity is highly desirable.
  • A genuine passion for supporting the learning and development of young people.
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work well as part of a team and build positive relationships with students, staff, and parents.
  • Relevant qualifications in education, childcare, or youth work are a plus but not essential.
  • A commitment to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children.
