About the Role

We are looking for a College Facilities Assistant to join our team at Manpower UK in Oxford City Centre.

The ideal candidate will have experience in basic DIY, plumbing, and electrics, along with a driving license. They will be responsible for maintaining the college premises, ensuring health and safety compliance, and providing excellent support to students and staff.

Key Responsibilities:

  1. Assist in the day-to-day upkeep of the college premises.
  2. Oversight of opening-up and locking-up procedures.
  3. Maintenance of external premises presentation, including cleanliness and safety.
  4. Liaison with cleaners to maintain internal standards.
  5. Performance of equipment checks and maintenance tasks.
  6. Conducting regular fire drills and inspections.
  7. Lifting, moving, and rearranging equipment and furniture as needed.

Requirements:

  • Good English and communication skills.
  • Excellent time management and flexibility.
  • Good IT skills and accurate record keeping.
  • Able to work collaboratively and on own initiative.
  • Positive attitude, eagerness to learn, and ability to adapt to changing priorities.

Salary and Benefits:

  • Estimated annual salary: £28,000.
  • 28 Days Annual Leave.
  • Free meal while on duty.
