Home School Support Worker

Job Description
The purpose of this role is to provide targeted support to pupils and their families, addressing specific issues that may hinder or disrupt learning.
As a key member of the Moray Council team, you will work closely with pupils, families, and other agencies to provide a range of support services.
Responsibilities
Assess the needs of pupils and families through a referral process.
Develop and deliver programs of support based on assessed needs.
Implement a monitoring and evaluation procedure to inform future service development.
Requirements
Experience of working with children, young people, and/or families.
Experience of working in a multi-disciplinary setting.
Ability to work with challenging young people and vulnerable adults.
Effective communication, presentation, and negotiation skills.
Capacity to make decisions under pressure and manage change.
Form productive working relationships with colleagues.
Appreciation of the importance of confidentiality.
Ability to work flexibly to meet the needs of the service.
Working Conditions
This role requires travel between various work locations within Moray.
Able to work in a range of settings, including homes, schools, and community buildings.
Salary and Benefits
Starting salary: £25.55 (pro rata) £13.63 per hour 36.25 hours per week (term time only)
