Job Overview

We are seeking a dedicated and caring Home Support Worker to join our team at North Lanarkshire Council.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide person-centred care to individuals living in their own homes, promoting independence and self-management.
  • Work closely with service users and their families to identify and address their needs and goals.
  • Develop and implement individual care plans, updating them as necessary.
  • Assist with daily living tasks, such as personal care and medication management.
Requirements
  • SVQ Level 2 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable.
  • Motivated and enthusiastic individual with a pleasant, friendly manner and respect for the privacy and dignity of individuals.
  • Good communication skills, able to observe and respond to changes in the health and wellbeing of people in care.
  • Current driving licence essential for some roles.

Working Arrangements

We offer flexible contracts averaging 21, 24.5 or 28 hours over a two-week pattern.
