Care Assistant Opportunity with Prestige Nursing & Care


Prestige Nursing & Care is seeking a dedicated and passionate Care Assistant to join our care and support team in Edinburgh.


As a Care Assistant, you will work delivering person-centred, specialised care to our clients in their own homes on a one-to-one basis. This will enable you to maintain a clinical and supportive overview of your client.


We are looking for professional carers who can build positive relationships with a range of clients and their families as we understand the importance that we play in their lives.

The Role:



  • Deliver personal care to supported individuals.
  • Work as part of a team or independently to supported individuals in their own homes.
  • Medication management.
  • Social visits.
  • Meal support.

We're Looking For:



  • Excellent communication skills.
  • Caring, committed, resilient and reliable.
  • Must live in Edinburgh and be able to commit to the rota and shifts.
  • A driver's licence is an advantage but not a requirement.
  • Walker roles may be available.
  • Good professional and personal references.

If you are a driver, you will receive 45p per mile between clients to cover mileage costs.

We require and will undertake Enhanced PVG, Right to Work, Reference and Employment History checks in line with Government guidelines for this role and safer recruitment best practice.
