As a key member of the Synchro team, you will play a vital role in delivering digital infrastructure across the UK. This exciting opportunity involves building strong relationships with our build partners to ensure smooth project delivery. Your commercial expertise will be essential in managing a portfolio of telecoms projects, including new builds, city enhancement projects, and field service frameworks.
Key Responsibilities
* Value contractor work and certify interim and final payments.
* Assess and authorise the submission of project variations.
* Review and mitigate commercial and contractual risks by implementing risk management policies.
* Provide commercial and contractual advice to city build teams, including valuation certifications, claims handling, budget monitoring, and contract/workstream performance data.
* Establish and maintain strong contractual relationships with build partners to ensure smooth project delivery.
Requirements
* Solid experience in commercial management and contractor procurement, ideally with working knowledge of NEC3 ECC forms.
* Experience overseeing large capital expenditure projects.
* Proficiency in Excel and data management tools. Experience in interpreting and collating financial data using spreadsheets.
* Strong presentation and report-writing skills.
* Background in construction, telecoms, civil engineering, or utilities is highly desirable.
