Role Overview

Llamau Limited is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Peripatetic Support Assistant to join our team. As a key member of our support staff, you will play a vital role in empowering young people to achieve their full potential and transition into independent living.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide day-to-day emotional and practical support to young people, promoting their independence and well-being.
  • Work collaboratively with the young person's keyworker and other team members to develop and implement support plans.
  • Offer guidance and advice in line with support plans, while respecting the young person's autonomy and decision-making capacity.
Requirements
  • Ability to engage and build strong relationships with young people, understanding the impacts of homelessness, domestic abuse, and trauma.
  • Forward-thinking attitude to crisis response, with a focus on de-escalation and resolution.
  • Capacity to remain calm and composed in challenging situations, prioritizing the young person's safety and well-being.
