Project Manager

Gregory Distribution is seeking an ambitious Project Manager to drive delivery of transformation and change projects across the group. This is an exciting opportunity to join a fast-paced business and have a positive impact on all our people.

Key Responsibilities:
  • Project Management: Manage the end-to-end delivery of transformation and change projects which support our business growth, improve our efficiency, and make life easier for our people.
  • Risk Management: Effectively identify and manage risk, escalating where appropriate to stakeholders at all levels.
  • Vendor Management: Liaise with external vendors and service providers to ensure timely delivery of requirements, products, and services.
  • Financial Management: Take responsibility of financial deliverables working closely with business stakeholders and tracking spend.
  • Collaboration: Work in partnership with the Group Technology team to support process mapping and embedding of change across the group.
  • Continuous Improvement: Contribute to the continuous improvement of the PMO by sharing knowledge and experience to refine project governance processes, controls, and reporting.
Requirements:
  • Education: PRINCE2 Practitioner, AgilePM Practitioner, or APM PMQ certified qualification(s) or equivalent.
  • Experience: Demonstrable experience of successfully delivering multiple projects concurrently, applying effective controls to manage risks & issues, budgets, and quality within a defined timeframe.
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in project management software (e.g., MS Teams, Jira).
  • Leadership Skills: Proven ability to lead and manage cross-functional teams in a dynamic environment.
  • Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to all levels of stakeholders.
  • Problem-Solving Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on delivering practical solutions.
What We Offer:
  • Salary: £50,000 - £55,000 per annum, dependent on experience.
  • Working Hours: 37.5 hours per week, Monday to Friday, 8:30am - 5:00pm.
