Supported Lodgings Scheme Coordinator

About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and dedicated individual to coordinate and deliver our well-established Supported Lodgings scheme for Powys County Council. The successful candidate will be responsible for the recruitment, assessment, and ongoing support of hosts, ensuring successful matches with the support of the young person's worker.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will need to have a passion for supporting disadvantaged young people to achieve positive outcomes. You will also need to be able to manage complex and sometimes conflicting situations, while recognizing the need to support the host but remaining child-centered.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, assess, and train host landlords
  • Provide regular supervision and support to hosts
  • Produce detailed Supported Lodgings assessment reports
  • Work with a range of professionals from different agencies
