About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tyre Science Engineer to join our team at FMC Talent. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in supporting our Formula 1 team's tyre science and engineering efforts.

Key Responsibilities
  • Provide technical support during race weekends and attend trackside races and testing.
  • Contribute to the design and development of tools used to monitor tyre performance.
  • Review testing techniques and suggest changes for improvements.
  • Manage tyre stock and supervise junior tyre engineers.
Requirements
  • Strong technical background in racing tyres.
  • Good understanding of the MAT-Atlas package.
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite.
  • Experience and knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink.
  • Ability to consistently set and meet high standards of work.
  • Comfortable in stressful and time-sensitive situations.
  • Quick decision-making skills.
  • Thrives in a team environment.
  • A can-do attitude.
