About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tyre Science Engineer to join our team at FMC Talent. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a critical role in the development and implementation of tyre performance strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Formulate pre-event tyre performance reports to inform racing strategy
  • Contribute to post-event analysis and reporting of tyre performance data
  • Collaborate with tyre science and software engineers to design and develop tools for tyre performance monitoring
  • Review and improve testing techniques to enhance tyre performance
  • Manage tyre stock and inventory
  • Supervise and mentor junior tyre engineers to ensure knowledge transfer and development

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in racing tyres and tyre performance
  • Good understanding of the MAT-Atlas package and its applications
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite and its tools
  • Experience and knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink for tyre performance analysis
  • Ability to consistently meet high standards of work and adapt to stressful and time-sensitive situations
  • Quick decision-making skills and a can-do attitude
  • Thrives in a team environment and is comfortable with collaboration and knowledge sharing
