About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled Senior Tyre Science Engineer to join our team at FMC Talent. As a key member of our organisation, you will play a crucial role in the development and implementation of tyre science strategies.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide technical support during race weekends and attend trackside races and testing
  • Formulate pre-event reporting and contribute to post-event analysis and reporting of tyre performance
  • Collaborate with tyre science and software engineers on the design and development of tools used to monitor tyre performance
  • Review testing techniques and suggest changes for improvements
  • Manage tyre stock and supervise junior tyre engineers

Requirements

  • Strong technical background in racing tyres
  • Good understanding of the MAT-Atlas package
  • Excellent knowledge of the MS Office Suite
  • Experience and knowledge of MATLAB & Simulink
  • Consistently set and meet high standards of work
  • Comfortable in stressful and time-sensitive situations
  • Quick decision-making skills
  • Thrives in a team environment
  • A can-do attitude
