We are seeking an experienced IT Service Delivery Manager to oversee the Service Desk operations for our client's IT Team.
The ideal candidate will have a strong technical background, excellent communication skills, and experience in managing a small team within an IT environment, preferably within an MSP operation.
The role involves ensuring prompt and effective handling of incidents and service requests, monitoring service desk metrics, and coordinating issue troubleshooting and timely escalation.
The successful candidate will also be responsible for overseeing IT projects, managing asset lists, stock levels, software licenses, and maintaining up-to-date IT documentation and knowledge base contributions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Lead the Service Desk team and ensure effective incident and service request management
- Monitor service desk metrics and identify areas for improvement
- Coordinate issue troubleshooting and timely escalation
- Oversee IT projects and ensure timely completion
- Manage asset lists, stock levels, software licenses, and IT documentation
Requirements:
- Strong technical background and experience in IT service delivery
- Excellent communication and leadership skills
- Experience in managing a small team within an IT environment
- Knowledge of problem management and incident management processes
- Technical skills in Windows Operating Environment, Cloud Services, Virtualisation, Hosting, Networking, and Storage
Working Environment:
The role will be based in Bracknell with free onsite parking and easy access to the town centre. Applicants will ideally live within 30 minutes commute of our Bracknell office.
The role will be 5 days per week with a working day of 8.5 hours including lunch.
