HR Services Coordinator

At the RAC, we are seeking an experienced HR Services Administrator to support our business, line managers, and employees in all things HR. This role is integral to the full employee lifecycle, involving a wide range of HR aspects including onboarding, payroll, reward, and benefits, as well as general HR administration.
This is a hybrid role with two days in the office and three days working from home. The successful candidate will have a strong customer focus, excellent attention to detail, and strong organisation and time management skills.
The RAC is a fast-paced, diverse organisation, and the ideal candidate will be able to work well under pressured deadlines. They will also have strong computer skills across the full range of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, Word, and the use of mail merge, and prior experience of HR and payroll systems.

Key Responsibilities:
- Produce contracts and offers of employment, enabling a seamless transition into the business.
- Ensure documents produced have been checked and validated for quality.
- Initiate and track pre-employment screening via third parties, ensuring that all checks are completed within FCA guidelines and legal requirements.
- Assist with the collation of data for the monthly payroll, querying anomalies and missing data.
- Monthly checking and validating payroll documents, providing clear instruction with the payroll provider.
- Provide timely day-to-day advice to line managers and employees on general HR-related queries.
- Support the annual processing of P11Ds, including queries regarding the application of tax.
- Day-to-day administration within the colleague's lifecycle, including statutory payments and deductions.
- Update the HR/Payroll System with required information for payment and business reporting requirements.
- Help manage the HR mailbox, responding to circa 200-300 emails per day.
