Activity Coordinator

Key Responsibilities:
  • Identify and plan activities that cater to the diverse interests and abilities of our residents, ensuring accurate records are maintained.
  • Liaise with residents, relatives, and colleagues to understand their needs and preferences, promoting participation and inclusivity.
  • Assist the Head of Activities in planning special events, such as garden parties, musical events, and day trips, within the agreed budget and maintaining accurate financial records.
  • Support residents with daily tasks, such as letter writing, shopping, and reading, encouraging the pursuit of individual hobbies.
  • Ensure the activities programme is regularly updated and advertised within the village, including events within the local community.
Requirements:
  • A full, clean UK driving licence.
  • Experience in event organisation and working with the elderly and/or vulnerable.
  • A positive attitude, with the ability to motivate residents using energy and a great sense of humour.
  • Empathy and friendliness in approach, with the ability to build long-lasting professional relationships.
