Job Title: Credit Controller Specialist


Prime Appointments is recruiting a Credit Controller Specialist to join their team. This is a full-time 6-9 month Fixed-Term Contract position working Monday - Friday 9.00am - 5.00pm and paying £26,000 - £28,000 per annum depending on experience.


This position is a hybrid role, working 2 days in the office and 3 from home after a successful induction. The successful candidate will report to the Credit Control Manager and be responsible for:



  • Chasing all outstanding monies
  • Producing weekly and monthly reports of aged debt
  • Attending weekly meetings with the Credit Control team to ensure the team remains focused and results-driven
  • Taking ownership of own debtor's ledger
  • Dealing with queries, liaising with operations to achieve resolutions to outstanding issues
  • Liaising with key agents, negotiating payment timelines, agreeing contra accounts
  • Regularly reporting on own debt balances, detailing action points and promised payments
  • Ensuring the top 10 debtors across the company are monitored and cleared weekly
  • Ensuring on-hold accounts, prevention, and credit exceed procedures are adhered to
  • Taking responsibility for unallocated cash reports
  • Resolving day-to-day credit control issues and problem accounts
  • Monitoring and managing the credit control inbox
  • Dealing with multi-currency accounts, running separate reports and forecasting incoming currency cash receipts
