Defence Sales and Growth Expert

We are seeking an experienced Defence Sales and Growth Expert to join our UK Sales Team at Janes. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record in sales and business development within the UK Defence and National Security sectors.
This challenging and exciting role requires a solution-focused individual who can identify prospects, create business development plans, and deliver revenue growth for Janes within the UK Defence & National Security environment.
Key Responsibilities:- Identify and pursue new business opportunities with UK Government, Defence, and National Security customers.
- Develop and execute comprehensive sales strategies to drive revenue growth and expand market share.
- Maintain strong relationships with key stakeholders, including Defence digital and intelligence professionals, influencers, and decision-makers.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Product, Marketing, and Demand Generation, to develop lead-generation action plans and identify new business opportunities.
- Articulate the value proposition of Janes' data-centric intelligence products and services to customers and provide insights into customer decision-making processes.
- Proven sales and business development experience in the UK Defence and National Security environments.
- High level of subject knowledge, expertise, and networks within the UK Defence and National Security sectors.
- Understanding of the UK Intelligence cycle and processes, especially in the 'C4ISR' capability areas.
- An understanding of the generic challenges faced by analysts within UK Defence and National Security sectors.
- Knowledgeable on UK Defence procurement processes.
- Strong communication skills, well-organised, flexible, resilient, and a positive mindset.
- Capability to develop and articulate an understanding of Janes Group UK Limited's value proposition.
- University degree (Bachelor's or equivalent) or equivalent combination of education and experience.
- UK Security Clearance, SC minimum.
- 27 days of annual leave.
