Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Supervising Social Worker to join our team at NonStop Consulting. As a Supervising Social Worker, you will be responsible for providing support and supervision to foster carers, ensuring the well-being and safety of children in care.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Oversee a small caseload of foster families, providing regular visits and support to ensure the best possible outcomes for children.
  • Develop and maintain strong relationships with foster carers, providing guidance and support to help them meet the needs of children in their care.
  • Conduct thorough assessments and reviews to ensure the suitability of foster placements and make recommendations for improvements.
  • Collaborate with other professionals, such as social workers and therapists, to ensure a comprehensive and coordinated approach to supporting children and families.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to stay up-to-date with best practices and industry developments.

Requirements:

  • Qualified Social Worker with a degree in Social Work or a related field.
  • Experience working in fostering or a Local Authority Children's Services team.
  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build rapport with foster carers, children, and other professionals.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team, with a flexible and adaptable approach to meet the needs of the role.
  • Valid driving license and access to a vehicle.
