About the Role
We are seeking an experienced Forensic Social Worker to join our team at Kent & Medway NHS & Social Care Partnership Trust. As a Forensic Social Worker, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of highly complex forensic cases, working with inpatients to maintain links with their local community and families, and liaising closely with community teams and other agencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Manage an agreed caseload of complex forensic cases
- Assist inpatients to maintain links with their local community and families
- Liaise closely with community teams and other agencies
- Support the Medium Secure Services' multidisciplinary team
- Undertake travel in relation to duties
Person Specification
- Essential:
- SW Qualification
- SW Registration
- Desirable:
- Additional relevant training (e.g. AMHP, BIA, Practice Ed.)
- Forensic experience (work with offenders)
- Experience in secure services
- Additional qualifications or training
- More than 5 years' experience in mental health or related field
