Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker

We are seeking an experienced and dedicated individual to join our team as a Senior Activity and Intervention Support Worker. As a key member of our team, you will play a vital role in providing high-quality care and support to our young people.
About the RoleThis is a challenging yet rewarding role that requires a high level of emotional intelligence, empathy, and understanding. You will work closely with our young people to identify their needs and develop personalized care plans that promote their physical, emotional, and social well-being.
Key Responsibilities- Provide high-quality care and support to our young people, including activities, interventions, and daily living tasks.
- Develop and maintain positive relationships with our young people, their families, and other professionals.
- Contribute to the development and implementation of care plans that meet the individual needs of our young people.
- Participate in training and professional development opportunities to enhance your skills and knowledge.
- Work collaboratively with the team to ensure the smooth running of the service and the well-being of our young people.
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A minimum of 12 months' experience in a children's residential care home.
- A Level 3 (or above) diploma in residential childcare (or be close to completion).
- A full driving license issued in the UK.
- A keen interest in outdoor and adventure activities.
- Applicants must have full right to work in the UK with no restrictions.
- In-depth knowledge of Ofsted regulations, expectations, and best practice.
- Training and experience in de-escalation, safe restraint, and physical intervention (such as Team Teach, MAPA, etc.).
- Values in line with Esland's, such as taking a therapeutic, person-centered approach to childcare.
- Due to industry regulations, applicants must be aged 21 or above.
