Aviation Maintenance Specialist

As a key member of our engineering team, you will be responsible for ensuring the highest standards of maintenance and repair for our AW169 helicopter fleet.
About the RoleThis is an exciting opportunity for a skilled Aircraft / B1.3 Licensed Engineer to join Gama Aviation LLC in the South East of England. The successful candidate will work a 5/5/4 shift pattern, providing engineering assistance for four AW169 line stations, encompassing scheduled maintenance and AOG recovery.
Situated in the South of England, the field engineer will expedite AOG rectification through minimised response times, working closely with our operations team to ensure maximum availability rates across our rotary HEMS operation.
Key Responsibilities- Completion and certification of Mechanical and Electrical systems related tasks as defined in the MOE, on the Company's aircraft.
- Issuing of all approved materials to the work via the Company's computer system (Corridor).
- All work is completed in a safe and appropriate manner considering risk to personnel, property and reputation.
- Reporting defects to the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
- Engineering additional duties as directed by the Line Maintenance Manager or Planning Department.
- EASA or UK CAA Aircraft Maintenance Engineers Licence.
- Maintenance related technical knowledge of mechanical and electrical systems.
- Good working knowledge of regulations and requirements associated with aircraft maintenance, Health & Safety and Human Factors.
- Ability to work alone and willingness to travel.
