At American Airlines, we're always looking for talented individuals to join our team of aviation maintenance specialists. As a Line Maintenance Technician, you'll play a vital role in ensuring the airworthiness of our aircraft.

About this Role

This is a challenging and rewarding position that requires strong technical skills and attention to detail. You'll be responsible for performing skilled work on aircraft, including troubleshooting, disassembly, and repair. Your expertise will be essential in maintaining the safety and reliability of our fleet.

We offer a competitive salary range of $60,000 - $90,000 per year, depending on experience. This is a great opportunity to develop your career in aviation maintenance while working for a leading airline.

Responsibilities
  • Certify the quality of your own workmanship, including signing mechanical flight releases for all work done on field work.
  • In those work positions where stock chasers are not maintained and/or available, you may chase own parts.
  • May have other aviation maintenance personnel assigned to assist in completing an assignment.
  • Work according to FAA, company regulations, procedures, and instructions from supervisor.
  • Complete forms connected with work assignments in accordance with established procedures.
  • Communicate with other company personnel as required in a manner designated by the company.
Requirements
  • Must be able to read, write, speak fluently, and understand English.
  • Valid driver's license.
  • FAA Airframe and Power Plant license and/or equivalent (EASA or UK for example).
  • Large aircraft experience - Widebody is preferred, especially B777 & B787.
  • Ability to work rotating shifts, including weekends, holidays, and days-off.
  • Right to live and work in the UK without restriction.
