Job Title: Estate Infrastructure Specialist

At Swansea University, we are seeking a skilled Estate Infrastructure Specialist to join our team. This is a permanent position based at our Singleton and Bay Campuses within the Estates Infrastructure Services Team.

The successful candidate will provide professional technical knowledge and experience contributing to the successful delivery of the University's estate and campus services. The role holder will ensure a well-maintained and safe built environment for the University community.

The estimated salary for this role is £30,000 - £40,000 per annum, depending on experience. As an inclusive and welcoming workplace, we value people for their skills regardless of their background.

About the Role
The successful candidate will be responsible for providing technical support for the maintenance of building services and wider campus infrastructure. This includes ensuring the efficient delivery of planned and reactive maintenance tasks.

Required Skills and Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to have a good understanding of technical facilities management and maintenance operations. You will also need to be able to pronounce Welsh words and answer the phone in Welsh (good morning/afternoon) and use very basic everyday words and phrases (thank you, please etc.). Level 1 can be reached by completing a 1 hour course.
