About the Role:

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As an Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and medical staff during surgical procedures.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during orthopaedic surgical procedures
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment
  • Ensure accurate and timely documentation of patient information
  • Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient surgical procedures
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance skills and knowledge

Requirements:

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently
  • Flexible and positive attitude
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character
