About the Role

We are seeking a highly skilled and experienced Orthopaedic Scrub Practitioner to join our Theatre team at Ramsay Health Care UK. As an Orthopaedic Surgical Assistant, you will play a vital role in supporting our surgeons and medical staff in delivering high-quality patient care.

Key Responsibilities

  • Assist surgeons and medical staff during orthopaedic procedures, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
  • Prepare and maintain a safe and efficient operating theatre environment.
  • Collaborate with the theatre team to ensure smooth and efficient procedure execution.
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development to maintain and enhance your skills and knowledge.
  • Contribute to the maintenance of high standards of patient care and safety.

Requirements

  • HCPC registration with no restrictions or conditions.
  • Surgical scrub experience within orthopaedics, including hip arthroplasty, knee arthroplasty, and anterior cruciate ligament repairs.
  • Surgical First Assist Qualification (SFA) desirable but not essential.
  • Proven ability to work effectively in a team environment and independently.
  • Flexible and positive attitude.
  • A warm, considerate, and empathetic character.
